Age range in custom measurement wizard

Hi, I'm trying to customize the averages for cephalometric measurements, but I need to set different averages based on gender and age. So I don't know how to do it. It only allows me to enter a specific age. For example, I need a specific value for males: ages 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16; and then a value for 17+, but I don't know how to enter an age range. Thank you very much.

WebCeph Manager

Dear Doctor, thank you for your inquiry. You can add up to 8 age entries by clicking the [Add Row] button at the bottom of the Reference tab. Please make sure to check the following two points: (1) You must enter both the average and standard deviation values for both male and female. If you only enter data for one gender, the reference will be incomplete. (2) The system compares the patient’s age with the closest lower reference age. For example, if you set a reference only for age 8, a patient who is 7 years old will show “no matching reference.” If you would like the reference to apply to all ages, please set the reference age to 0. This will ensure the reference is applied to every patient regardless of age. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us anytime. Thank you.

Thank you very much, that solves my question. But I have another one: Can I only modify the averages of the measurements I created? Doesn't it allow "Admin" measurements?

WebCeph Manager

Dear Doctor, thank you for your additional inquiry. The default admin-provided measurements cannot be directly edited by users. However, if you wish to make changes, we can provide you with an editable copy via the “Share” feature. To proceed, please email us at admin@assemblecircle.com with the names of the measurements you would like to modify. We will then send you a friend request and share the specified measurements with your account. Once you accept the friend request, you will be able to edit the shared measurements and apply your own reference values. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime. Thank you.
